Meet our sweet natured herd of wild burros a.k.a. donkeys. We call them our Jackpot Jennies because we feel we hit the jackpot the day we rescued them. We know your heart will be captivated by these gentle giants as we share a special session soaking in the peace, joy and hope that donkeys offer.
Enjoy learning about wild burros, meet the herd in person, experience the beauty of these soulful animals, feed them treats, take lots of fun pictures and see for yourself why we care so much about saving wild burros. The highlight of our experience is the Donkey Walk where you will have the opportunity to partner with one of these gentle giants.
Our Donkey Walk program is only open to guests over 12 years of age. No DOGS or other outside animals allowed, please leave your pets at home and enjoy ours. Every person in attendance must have a ticket purchased in advance and a signed liability release on file. Please wear closed toed shoes.
The Donkey Walk program is not stroller or wheelchair accessible and does require walking on a forested mountain trail (about 0.50 total). Moderate fitness is required.
Donkey Walks are held rain or shine. All ticket purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid only for the date and time indicated.
