Burro = A donkey from the wild. A female donkey is called a jenny.
Meet our sweet natured herd of wild burros a.k.a. donkeys. We call them our Jackpot Jennies because we feel we hit the jackpot the day we rescued them. We know your heart will be captivated by these gentle giants as we share a special session soaking in the peace, joy and hope that donkeys offer.
Enjoy learning about wild burros, meet the herd in person, experience the beauty of these soulful animals, feed them treats, take lots of fun pictures and see for yourself why we care so much about saving wild burros. The highlight of our Jackpot Jennies experience is the Walk-A-Donk, where you will have the opportunity to walk a donkey along our trail.
Our Jackpot Jennies Donkey Walk program is only open to guests over 12 years of age. For families or others wanting to meet the herd please come our Jackpot Jennies Farmstand & Market the 2nd Saturday of each month June to October (the herd will be available for all to meet). No DOGS or other outside animals allowed, please leave your pets at home and enjoy ours. Every person in attendance must have a ticket purchased in advance and a signed liability release on file. Please wear closed toed shoes.
Jackpot Jennies Donkey Walk program is not stroller or wheelchair accessible and does require walking on a forested mountain trail (about 0.50 round trip). Moderate fitness is required.
Jackpot Jennies Donkey Walks are held rain or shine. All ticket purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid only for the date and time indicated.
