  • "Benny"

    Benny is a burro, aka donkey, and was adopted from the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) Wild Horse & Burro Adoption program. He is a majestic piece of American history and the guard for our goat tribe.

  • "Amy Swinehouse"

    Amy Swinehouse is a potbelly pig. She has limited vision but her scent and hearing are excellent and she navigates her world with ease. She loves potatoes, apples, dried apricots and belly scratches.

  • "Kevin Bacon"

    Kevin Bacon is a potbelly pig. Kevin was adopted from the Placer County Animal Shelter and quickly became Amy’s BFF. Kevin is a shy and quiet guy

  • "Lola"

    Lola is a 12 year old llama. She is gentle but the guard, a great protector for her friends. Lola takes time to analyze her surroundings but settles in and warms up eventually.

  • "Sebastian"

    Sebastian is a 15 year old male llama, He is a wild guy and loves to hop around. Sebastian makes us laugh with his unapologetic enthusiasm for meal time.

  • "Mr. Brown"

    Mr. Brown is an old alpaca. Mr. Brown doesn’t care for walking on a halter so he is a full time buddy to Sebastian, he does his job well.

  • "Gobbles"

    Gobbles is a handsome tom turkey. He spends most of his time strutting before all the other fowl and sounding his drum.

  • Ducks

    "The Welsh Harlequins"

    Blaize is our resident poultry expert. As I will always mention Blaize is a champion showman and raises champion poultry. Recently Master Blaize has expanded into waterfowl and has a brood of Welsh Harlequin ducks.

  • Crevecoeur

    "The Crevecoeur"

    These beautiful standard sized chickens are part of our conservation efforts to help protect threatened breeds. Listed as critically endangered by the Livestock Conservancy we are proud to have this lovely breed represented in our flock.

  • Houdans

    "The Mottled Houdans"

    Another standard sized chicken that is currently listed as critically threatened by the Livestock Conservancy. This regal bird has a crest, a beard, and an extra toe which all lend to a distinct impression. We love our Mottled Houdan chickens.

  • "George"

    George is a Great Pyrenees who guards us and keeps us safe. George hangs out with the goats but is not their guard dog. George is an impressive gentle giant.

  • "Lenny"

    Lenny is all things you want in a dog. He is playful and sweet and loyal. Lenny is gentle with baby animals and eager to please and play.

  • "Surly"

    Surly is a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Surly is beautiful as well as athletic. She does not like to be cold and as you can image uses that hound dog voice every chance she gets.

  • "Buster"

    Buster is a small dog who thinks of himself as a big dog. Buster is a great guard and a loyal companion.

  • "Chi Chi"

    Chi Chii Chi prefers indoors and laps of luxury. Chi Chi belongs to Blaize and is by far the most spoiled of all our dogs.

  • "Bella Boo"

    Bella Boo is the inspiration behind our “Catio” and is a real joy. She is a timid cat who takes time to warm up to you, but this Scottish Fold beauty holds a special place in our hearts.

  • "Greenie"

    Greenie is a Neva Masquerade and was once a feral living at a golf course. Now Greenie lives a life of leisure but she is still an awesome hunter and brings us her trophies.

  • Daisy

    "Daisy"

    Daisy was given to us by some friends and no one seems to know exactly how old she is at this point. We never thought we could enjoy a tortoise so much but she is a very cool creature. When she is not hibernating we will share her with you too!

  • "Tiki"

    Tiki is a charming and feisty cockatiel. He can talk and sing and knows at least five phrases.
