Burro is the name for a donkey from the wild. A female donkey is called a jenny.
Meet our sweet-natured herd of rescued wild burros—lovingly known as our Jackpot Jennies. We call them that because the day we rescued them truly felt like hitting the jackpot, and we believe you’ll feel it too the moment you meet them.
This peaceful, guided experience invites you to slow down and connect with these gentle giants in a meaningful way. Learn about wild burros and the importance of their protection, spend quiet time with the herd, and experience firsthand the calm, joy, and hope that donkeys so naturally offer. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to feed them treats, take beautiful photos, and simply be present with these soulful animals.
The highlight of the experience is the Donkey Walk, where you will have an opportunity to partner with one of our burros and walk together at her pace—an unforgettable moment of trust, connection, and quiet companionship.
